What does this “PI in a Box” Course get me?

Bluemoon College is an accredited training provider with SFJ (Skills for Justice) and Pearson. This course is designed for those with no knowledge and experience to receive all the training they need to be able to open and operate a successful professional Private Investigation Agency in the UK. It is the only course of its kind that teaches everything you need. The trainers for this course all have a minimum of at least twenty years industry experience as seasoned surveillance operatives in a private investigator, commercial, police, military or other governmental agency setting. The lead tutor is an approved trainer with the ABI Academy.

• PI Advanced Course – 4 days classroom
• Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators – the likely qualification when and if licensing is introduced
• Level 4 Award in Covert Surveillance – Intermediate (accredited by SFJ Awards) – 5 day course
• Level 4 Award in Covert Surveillance – Advanced (accredited by SFJ Awards) – 5 day course
• 24 x 2 hour tutorials conducted via Zoom (evenings and weekends)

Where, when and how much do I pay?

The PI in a Box Course is open for enrolment now. The practical courses run from our training rooms in Paddington, central London. It is a 12 month training programme conducted via online courses, Zoom tutorials and practical courses – a total of 280 hours of training. The total cost of this course is £4,995 (including VAT). Course structure You do not need to wait for a course date you can enrol now and your course tutor will contact you to arrange and schedule all of your classroom training dates by mutual arrangement. You will be granted access to our online learning portal which contains all our online courses after your induction meeting which is conducted via Zoom.

Requirements

You should have a good command of spoken English, the course is taught in English. It also involves physical activity and walking for prolonged periods – you should be able to walk up to 10km a day. You will be required to provide a photographic ID (passport) and a valid UK driving license, plus a proof of address (utility bill or bank statement) dated within the last three months when enrolling on the course. On successful completion of the course, students receive the Bluemoon PI in a Box Diploma Qualification, Level 3 Award in Professional Investigation SFJ Level 4 Intermediate AND Advanced Awards in Covert Surveillance Operations. Some of the course may involve using public transport. Students should arrange for an oyster card or have a contactless payment method for the duration of the course and be able to travel freely on public transport in zones 1 & 2. This cost is at the students expense. The course also involves driving. All students must have had at least twelve months driving experience and a valid UK drivers license.
